Dr. Cornelius Patt, CEO

Dr. Cornelius Patt, 43, Master rer. soc. Oec, is founder and Chairman of the Management Board of zooplus AG. His studies in business administration at Vienna University of Economics (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien) were followed by a doctorate in the Department of Marketing  in Vienna and New York.

From 1995 to 1999 Dr. Patt worked for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. The start of his career as consultant of Roland Berger at the branch office in Düsseldorf was followed by the supervision of consultancy projects in Munich; thematic focus were reorganisations as well as sales- and marketing projects.

Dr. Cornelius Patt is Member of the Management Board since 1999 and Chairman of the Managment Board/CEO since 2006.
Dr. Patt is responsible for the Company’s strategic development and manages the Company´s internationalisation and the Logistic Department. After the successful positioning of the business model in Germany and the break even in 2004 the total sales increased from EUR 28 million to more than EUR 190 million; currently 50% of the sales are generated outside of Germany.

Florian Seubert, CFO

Florian Seubert, 37, MA (Oxon) is a founder and Chief Financial Officer of zooplus AG. After completing his studies in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Oxford / UK Florian Seubert  worked for JPMorgan’s Financial Markets Division in London and New York.   

Florian Seubert  has been a founder and CFO of zooplus since 1999. His responsibilities include Finance & Accounting, Controlling, Investor Relations, Legal as well as HR and Admin. Under his watch zooplus has developed from bootstrapped Start Up to Prime Standard listing and SDAX index membership.

Supervisory Board:

At the close of the Annual General Meeting on May 26, 2011, Felix von Schubert stood down from the Supervisory Board.
The Annual General Meeting elected Michael Rohowski, director of Burda Direkt Services GmbH, Offenburg, as new member of the Supervisory Board.
